We can precisely laser cut a wide range of sheet metal parts of varying thicknesses, such as titanium, aluminum, stainless, and mild steel materials. LMI specializes in precision laser cutting services for prototype, short and long run production parts. Our fabrication shop is equipped with the Trumpf L2530 ( 3000w ) laser-cutting machine for producing precision cut parts with high repeatability. We laser cut sheet sizes up to 48" x 96", while maintaining tolerances of +/- 0.005".

From customer provided drawings to finished parts, we effectively streamline our production processes utilizing CNC controls and programming features of the Trumpf L2530. Most laser cut parts, both simple and complex geometries, do not require any secondary operations prior to assembly.

The high-speed cutting head and automatic sheet loader of the Trumpf L2530 allows us to reduce part cycle times even on the most intricate sheet metal components. The L2530 laser does not require any special tooling and allows quick set up of operation. Furthermore, the sheet metal part nesting capabilities allows us to maximize material utilization, minimize cut time, and reduce scrap thus allowing LMI to be more competitive for our customers.
